Ode to Corporate Affairs

Well in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
1:3 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 - And God saw the light, and it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.. but the light has not reached one corner of the universe..and that is where my inspiration comes from. The HR department of my company...

There is a department, most hated,
Everyone wishes their demise with breaths bated.
Maidens Brainless and fair,
Run the department known as Corporate Affairs.
Logic & rationality are swept aside,
It's a final word - whatever they decide
They forget that they are a support function,
And carry their tyranny without any compunction.
Remove the coffee machine, stop providing spoons,
It’s harder to make us see the light than to go to the moon.
Pantry boys serve water and coffee in their room
All objections brushed away without a broom.
Smug faces but heads held high,
While all we do is sit and sigh.
Top Bosses, please take note
If ever it is put on Vote
Corporate Affairs would win the the most hated department hands down
Then please don't sit & frown
Support & respect of your subordinates u stand to win,
Not doing anything will be an unpardonable sin
So go ahead and make amends,
